Chamber Connections Networking
Chamber Connections is a dedicated networking group that meets twice a month. Members get to know each other and their businesses, give referrals to each other, develop strong personal and professional relationships with people in their business sphere group and grow their businesses by word of mouth
All meetings take place at Innovate Newport from 8:00-9:15 a.m.

Startup Founders Dinners
Founders Dinners are a place where startup founders in tech industries come together to share, learn, and connect. As a member of our Founders Dinners cohort, you’ll meet bi- monthly for two hours over dinner with the same group of 8-10 peers. These growth-oriented founders share – in a completely confidential setting – the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship, and how it impacts both their professional and personal lifestyles. Our Founders include entrepreneurs who are interested in growing their companies by leveraging the knowledge of their peers and who desire to share their ideas, experiences, and insights. Each dinner will be comprised of the Founders and a Guest of Honor, who has been recognized as an expert and leader in their fields.

The Blue & You Summer Speaker Series:
Rhode Island has always had a strong connection to the ocean and the industries surrounding it like tourism & recreation, marine trades, and fisheries. The Blue & You summer speaker series provides information that will help citizens understand what the blue economy is and how it impacts them. These engaging sessions led by panels of experts highlight new developments and opportunities within the blue economy, including innovative solutions to problems, job opportunities, and exciting collaborations across the state and region.
The Blue & You Summer Speaker Series takes place weekly throughout the summer at Innovate Newport.

International Innovation Program
The International Innovations Program is intended to develop partnerships and strengthen relationships with other international port cities made up of similar economies and industries to help bridge our markets and expand opportunities for entrepreneurs.
In 2022, The Chamber partnered with Rhode Island Israeli Collaborative (RIIC) to offer a Blue Tech Startup Competition in which startups in both Rhode Island and Israel competed for a prize that included cash as well as a customized trip including flights to the partnering country where the winner gained access to personalized introductions, meetings, and coworking space.

RISE Student Entrepreneurship Summit
The Student Entrepreneurship Summit is an annual event that provides students from three local universities the opportunity to come together in a neutral space (Innovate Newport) to network and learn from and with each other.
In this ½ day Summit, students access workshops, Flash Talks, a keynote speaker, and networking opportunities.
The Event is being planned by Innovate Newport in partnership with Salve Regina University.
